Winter Break Is Here Again!

Today was the first day back to work after the winter break. It wasn't as hard going back as I thought it would be, but I am looking forward to warmer weather as spring slowly approaches. In the meantime, here is a "flash back" to our winter break trip. I'll be updating everyday so be sure to check back often. :)

Our first stop on our trip was Vienna, Austria. It is known for its Christmas markets during this time of year--which was one of the reasons we picked it.

The main Christmas market in downtown Vienna.

Treats, treats and more treats!

Puzzle games for the smart kid in your house.

A strange looking alien/gremlin creature hanging out
in Santa's village display.

Need some ornaments...they have just a few!

Yummy sweets!

Ben enjoying hot wine and a garlic sausage roll.
This was our first hot wine and you could keep the mug.

The hot wine helped warm you up!

AMERICA! HECK YEAH! :)

I thought those were butterflies at first, Ben later corrected
me and told me they were angels.

Austria's Parliament.

Statue of Queen Maria Theresa.

Another Christmas market near the museums.

Come back tomorrow to see where the Queen of Austria used to live!
