Salzburg, Austria

The day after Christmas we decided to head to Salzburg, Austria. The home of Mozart, the "Sound of Music," salt mines, and beautiful alps scenery. We traveled by train, which took about 2 1/2 hours from Vienna. Once we arrived in Salzburg it was already late afternoon. Our first objective was to find our hotel and then go find something to eat. After dinner we strolled around town seeing a variety of sites like the Christmas market, an ice skating rink and Mozart's childhood home.

The city at night (well actually only 4:30 p.m.)
