Our Saturday in Nyiregyhaza

On Saturday, we took a quick day trip to the neighboring town of Nyiregyhaza. While in town we enjoyed the historical sites and had lunch at a pizza place. Our friend Nancy summed up the town best when she said, "It was nice seeing the same buildings just in a different configuration." Sometimes you just need a change of scenery and we are glad we chose Nyiregyhaza for the day.

Here is a photo journey of our day:

A map of the town.

Petting a very small lion.

The lion is the size of a dog!

Yes they have a McDonald's just about everywhere!

The town preparing for Christmas.

People put locks here to symbolize their love.
