Fall Break Part 3--In Genova the dolphins like to jump!

When we arrived in the city of Genova, Italy it was still raining! We decided to do the Genova Aquarium tour because it was inside and it is known to be one of the best aquariums in Europe.

A shuttle boat to take us to the aquarium.

The aquarium also had dolphins, and they even put on a show for us! (Make sure you play the video)

After the aquarium we finally saw a glimpse of sunshine after almost 2 days of non-stop rain. We weren't sure if the good weather would last, but that didn't stop us from going to explore the city.

An old Italian Ship---did Christopher Columbus sail in this?

The buildings here are very close together!

In the downtown of the city.

We are here!

Christopher Columbus' house!
(Really it is...not a joke!)

Old town gates.

Me next to my future vespa!

This is Ben's new fuel efficient car that
he can put in the back of his future truck!

The seal of the city.

In the port.

Our ship next to the city.

After a busy day of site seeing we went back the ship. We were happy to not be drenched in our clothes and excited about our next day in Italy. Come back tomorrow for Part 4---Does Dana find a cute Italian purse or just more yummy gelato?
